I’ve been to where the streets have no names and I’ve swum along the banks of the Nile, hiked into the coffee lands and danced at the house of a Ghanaian chief. I dream in colors of foreign lands and I’m passionate about international development. But I’m also torn in too many directions to know where to go, so I’ve made myself a promise that I’ll stay in one place for one year once I graduate. Hence I’m moving to Washington, DC in May where I’ll try out some things and see where they take me. This blog is intended to both feed my addiction for writing, and to serve as an organizational space for my thoughts on where I want my life to end up. Some of my writing is what I like to call “poetic prose”, not quite poetry, and not quite prose…some of it makes sense to me, but most of it is just experimenting with words which I find to be tremendously beautiful when put together just right. Other entries shall pertain to development, and the rest is probably my thoughts on this, that, and the other thing, whatever that may be.
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned before, but I enjoy your “poetic prose.”
